Accessing Facebook Workshop

Access Technology Center at CABVI

Have you wanted to learn more about this popular networking medium that more than 800 million people use?  Would you like some hands-on instruction and cool tips on how to go about creating and maintaining your own Facebook account? Then this workshop is for you.  Join us on February 24th from 9:00 – 3:00 to learn more.
 
The Access Technology staff from CABVI will cover many of the most common tasks that you will encounter as a facebook user; including the   Creation, updating, friending, sharing and posting of information for the public.
 
Participants should  be independent users of large print or a screen reading product and have web browsing skills to benefit from this experience. If you don’t already have a Facebook account you will need access to an email account and password in order to start one. If you would like to upload a profile picture during account creation then you will need to bring a digital picture on a CD or thumb drive with you.

The workshop will be held in the Access Technology Center at the Cincinnati Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired, 2045 Gilbert Avenue, Cincinnati, Ohio 45202, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
