The Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired manufactures products which are sold primarily to the federal government. CABVI participates in a program of the National Industries for the Blind in which 89 non-profit blindness agencies in the U.S. sell products to the government under the provisions of the Javits-Wagner-O'Day (JWOD) Act of 1971. CABVI also sells products to the State of Ohio through the Ohio State Use Law and to commercial customers.
Products must meet government quality specifications and be delivered on time at competitive prices. CABVI is proud to be an associate member of the National Industries for the Blind and to produce a variety of products used daily by government employees. CABVI's Industries Program employs people who are blind to manufacture these products.
