Contact the manager of volunteer services at 513-487-4217 to request an application. After you return the application, the manager of volunteer services will call to schedule a personal interview. During the interview, options for volunteer work with CABVI are explored. Auditions are required for volunteers who desire to read. References are checked and then applicants are invited to an orientation. 

The orientation includes a tour of CABVI, information on services, demonstration and practice of sighted guide techniques, discussion of the definition and causes of blindness, videos on blindness, and a review of the volunteer policies and procedures. We'll give you all the information you need to be a successful volunteer.
