HOW CAB IS FUNDED

A cartoon rendering of different types of currency - coins, bills, credit card, checks.

The Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired depends upon the generosity of the community for financial support. Since 1911, our community has demonstrated its concern for the quality of life for people who are blind or visually impaired with its donations of time and dollars. Today, with an increase in the number of people who are visually impaired, it takes even more financial support for CABVI to assist 4,000 persons annually. We thank our community for this enduring commitment!

As a private, not-for-profit organization, CABVI is not a state or federal agency and does not directly receive tax dollars. Support for our rehabilitation services typically comes from annual campaign gifts, fees and third-party payments, bequests, endowment income, and United Way.
