CABVI Welcomes One Returning and Two New Board Members

April 30, 2019 – Cincinnati, OH –Cincinnati Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired (CABVI) welcomes one returning member and two new board members who bring a wealth of expertise and experience to CABVI.


Returning Members Include:
Michael Lichstein, Ph.D. was first elected to the Board of Trustees in 1990, serving on the Program and Strategic Planning Committees. Michael, served as vice chair for many years, finally serving as Board Chair from 2010 to 2015. Michael rotated off the Board in 2018 and has been asked to return as a Trustee.


Two New Members:
Robin Chadwick is a realtor and mother of an adult son who is blind. Robin started the local Foundation Fighting Blindness Vision Walk in 2005 which has raised over $1,000,000 to support retinal degenerative disease research to provide preventions, treatments, and cures for people. Robin and her husband Mark were collaborators in starting CABVI’s Golf Outing and were heavily involved in organizing all six of those events. (Resident of Independence, KY).


Anne Pezel is currently Chief Operating Officer for the Freestore Foodbank. Anne’s past experience includes Vice President, Global Sales Operations for Brightstar Corporation and Vice President, Global Supply Chain for Parfetti Van Melle. Anne brings extensive knowledge of Global Supply Chain and Logistics and strong Greater Cincinnati community connections to the CABVI Board.
